This is one of our go-to recipes. It’s easy, it’s fast, and the kids love it. It’s been pinned dozens of times on Pinterest, sometimes with variations, but the original recipe comes from the French’s website. It’s just chicken, dipped in egg and pressed into French’s French Fried Onions — they’re not just for that green bean casserole at Thanksgiving!
My teens prefer this made with chicken tenders instead of chicken breasts, but you could easily slice the chicken breasts diagonally into three or four pieces to get a similar crust-to-chicken ratio. I do end up using the whole 6-ounce container of onions instead of the 4 ounces the recipe calls for.
Throw in a salad, some fruit and dinner rolls, and you’ve got dinner. Easy peasy.
