We love crab rangoon and were excited to try to make it at home without having to fry it. I’ve also had good results with most of the Weight Watchers recipes I’ve tried, so when I saw this pin from the Yummly site, I was hopeful.
I should have paid more attention to the ingredients. We’re used to a slightly sweet filling. This was a bit too garlicky and not sweet at all. I’ve since seen other recipes that don’t have garlic salt and add a little sugar.
The baked wontons were fine, although not the same as fried, but you have to give up a little of the texture if you’re going to bake instead. We’ll try another recipe for the filling.
